Changing your password under Linux

In Linux Mint, changing your password is as simple as opening a terminal and typing passwd.
Just follow the prompts by entering your old password and then your new password twice.
Here's an example:

$ passwd
Changing password for yourname.
(current) UNIX password:
Enter new UNIX password:
Retype new UNIX password:
passwd: password updated successfully

Use wisely ;)
